The Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center announces Jeans, Jewels, JOKES & The J, a unique and special dinner and drive-in event featuring Emmy Award winner stand up comic Judy Gold. The event follows the Levis JCC’s yearly tradition of celebrating the organization, its committed supporters and outstanding honorees. Jeans, Jewels, JOKES & The J will be held on Saturday, January 30th at 7:00 pm at South County Regional Park. Chaired by Illana & Samy Dwek, Jeniffer & Jason Freeman, Jayme & Matt Shafran, and Alicia & Jeffrey Spero, the event is expected to bring together hundreds of people for a safe, socially distanced, fun-filled evening to celebrate the Center, and to benefit the programs and services of the Levis JCC.
During the evening, the Levis JCC will proudly honor April & Roger Leavy with the Phyllis & Harvey Sandler Crystal Award, and Nicole & Josh Ruderman with the Shirley & Allan B. Solomon Leadership Award.
Jeans, Jewels, JOKES & The J is generously sponsored by The Boca Raton Observer, Lou Bachrodt Automotive Group, and Zo Diamonds. The event benefits the Levis JCC’s programs and services: Betty & Marvin Zale Early Childhood Learning Center, Helene & Roy Schwedelson Special Needs Department, Sports & Wellness, Arts, Culture & Learning at the Phyllis & Harvey Sandler Center, Marleen Forkas Camps, and the Levis JCC Resale Boutique. Proceeds specifically support a robust scholarship and financial aid program that enables hundreds of children to participate in preschool, special needs and summer camp programs that they would otherwise not be able to attend.
